Title: Profile electric motor mounts
Post by: John Rist on May 31, 2012, 01:44:26 AM
Looking through the electric postings I see many examples of mounting motors on a profile ship with the use of right angle aluminum mounting brackets.  Does anyone make and sell these brackets?

John,
I use 1/16 thick aluminum angle iron that I buy in Home Depot for a few dollars for a 3 foot length for the profiles that I make. I cut to size and drill.

YES - OK!!!  Now why didn't I think of that.   As an extrusion it should be hard and rigid.   y1   H^^
