I had a bit of time a while ago so started messing around with an older British design called the Toreador. Always kind of intrigued me but never built it as it was designed for a .10 cu. in. engine and featured carved block construction which was heavy. I loved the look of a rounded fuselage and with the advent of electric power that eliminated the suspended motor mounts and the problem of vibration so decided to start designing a larger model in the 620 sq. in. size for electric.
To date here is what I have come up with. It is not finished yet but the "numbers" are all there. If anyone other than myself and Bill is interested in this model let me know and I will continue on to the kit stage. No idea at the present on the final price but for something in this size range a full kit would likely be in the $150 price range and a "short kit" (no sticks, sheet, block or hardware) in the $110 price range. No promises yet, I'm just asking to see if there is sufficient interest to continue the process.
