You are so yesterday, get with it man. Stop engineering all this stuff and get you a honk'in motor, a hot speed control, a big battery and get out there and whip them boys!

I have two Sultans with Plettenberg 20-16’s. On the third one I took out my AXI and tried the SII Scorpion 3026-710 – it worked very well. I like the 14 pole motors as they are a better match for the throttle curve on the Castle Creations ESC’s. I was just pulling your chain; we know the Plettenberg’s are smooth as silk. About $200 FOB Canada. Scorpion about $125 FOB North Carolina.

No, I’m getting one wound to about 680Kv but I wanted to try the stock one first. The only fault I could find with the Scorpion is the bearings – I would definitely not rear mount this motor with only 10mm bearings. Calculations (you know what I told Howard to stop) show the sweet spot at 680KV with 9500 RPM on a 5S battery pack.
