Hello,
I have ordered two Plettenberg Orbit 15-22 Kv=685 motors for use in my future planes.
I have also ordered two sets of bearings.
Please note the details regarding bearings. These details are not available on the Plettenberg web site.
The motor has three bearings: two 5x11x5 mm. 685 2Z made in Japan and 20x25x4 mm. ET2520 2Z made in China (ref: https://www.lily-bearing.com/ball-bearings/thin-section-bearings/et-er-bearing/et2520/).
Comment: there are poor quality Chinese bearings like these in Cobra motors, good quality Chinese bearings and everything in between .
ET2520 2Z suppose to be a good quality Chinese product.
I will test everything next season and we will see.
