The paint scheme was a collaborative effort between myself and Sina Goudarzi.

The process started by me telling him that I wanted an aggressive scheme and it would be white, with red and black trim. He set out by creating six options to look at. The process took some time and we finally narrowed it down to what exists today. We tried to get the wolf head on the fuse, but I was not happy with the rest of the fuse. I suggested it go on the wing, and next thing was the product that was finally chosen.

He sent the files to Mike Haverly to cut the mask (yes, he has a special "computer" for that. He shipped them to me and within a week all the red and black was on.

I was (am) very happy with the process and would recommend him to anyone.

I have written an article for SN about the effort. Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you Paul, Thank you Bob.

I am indeed very honored to have had this opportunity to work with you both on your planes. Working with top level fliers and modelers is a great pleasure.

As Paul and Bob mentioned, the process was a collaborative effort. My role was basically to become a mediator.  I would have not been able to complete the project without Paul and Bob’s input. The process simply pushes you to think about the style of presentation you would like in advance, then the plane, paint, me, adobe illustrator, paint gun, balsa, and so on serve as tools towards the bigger goal.

I have to thank you Paul and Bob again and am looking forward to read Paul’s article in SN. Also, I have to thank specially Mike Haverly for cutting the masks so beautifully.

I am looking forward helping anyone else who might want to explore this process in their paint scheme.
