I notice from the CC web site the "Ice" series is now discontinued and replaced by the "Edge" series. Has anyone tried one yet? If so any good, or should I buy up all the Ice versions before they disappear? They seem to have everything we have come to expect with the addition of an auxiliary wire which can be configured for a number of extra options. I can't really see anything which we could use apart from the "Arm Lock Key" and I'm guessing it will not be an acceptable alternative to the arming plug we use now.

Thanks for the tip. I've been taught not to trust software arm locks, but the wire can be programmed as an RPM sensor, which might be useful.

I ordered an ICE 50 lite, but received the new Edge Lite 50. Has anyone else tried one yet? I too want to know.
As Howard said, there is an extra wire that would plug into a spare channel on a receiver if used for R/C applications,
that would arm the ESC. (If you fly helis, it's like the extra gyro plug for heading hold on/off) You also have to use the latest software on Castlelink. I think you can turn off/on the extra
wire via software. Other than that, I don't see any issues for our C/L use. Might try it out this weekend.
