Title: New Project-Oriental ARC
Post by: Mike Callas on September 07, 2011, 11:19:34 PM
OK,
I want to set up my Oriental full fuse ARC as an electric.
I'm planning to use 4S packs and an ICE lite 50 ESC.
I'm using an e-flite 32 770 kv in a TF Nobler ARF and it seems to have a lot of grunt.
Is an e-flite 25 a better choice for the Oriental? Or should I stick to the e-flite 32?
Thanks

Mike

I would use the Power 15 with an 11x5.5P, maybe trimmed it to 10" or 10.5"

The power 25 will turn a 13" prop - overkill and a heavy for the Oriental

Wow, really a P15?
That is a 950 kV motor, so would 3S be the right battery?

Thanks

I'd be willing to bet that he would recommend a 4S for this one...

Like John said, a 4Sx2500 ought to do the job!
