My Latest Ride
« on: October 04, 2013, 10:33:21 PM »
Here's my Beginner's Ringmaster.  My grandson Timmy is in town this weekend and we are going to Burlington Iowa for the Ringmaster Fly-In.  I'm hoping he'll get to solo.  I put on my KR timer in case we have a prop strike.  A HK 2205 motor ( same one that goes on the indoor Gee Bee), a Turnigy Plush 10A ESC, and some Nano-Tech 3S 370mah batteries.  5.3 oz all ready to go.

Have you flown it.  How does the setup compare (power wise) to a Cox 049?

Thanks for showing this Crist,
This electric setup is just what I need for a Boston Blackie that I would like to use next year to show my Grandson the thrill of control line flight. Looks like an APC prop, What size?

Thanks Crist,
Found the prop. I also noticed 2 diffierent sized HK 2205 motors. I believe the one I am looking for is the 2205c 1400kv, correct me if I'm wrong.

Awesome Crist!  I will have to copy this setup to teach a few kids that are interested in learning. Thanks for sharing your setup.

Thanks,
