HobbyKing is probably close to the cheapest. Get them from the USA warehouse to save on shipping and time delay!!

That said, I have had good luck with HobbyPartz Gens Ace Lipos. They are maybe not the cheapest but are pretty reasonable. Be careful that what you are ordering is IN stock or be prepared to wait a good while (don't ask how I know this   n1).

I've been using a few of the Zippy Compact 35C, 4S 3300 mAh packs from Hobby King for a while have been pleased.  Gdt them from the US warehouse.

Nice advantage for me is that I can order from the Hobby King US warehouse and pick them up myself (no shipping). They are located near where I work.

When you say cheap you mean cheap!! I say go ahead and try them and report back what your experience is. For myself, I will stick to a bit higher grade of battery.  ;D

I've been getting my batteries from Hobby King also.  I've had the best luck with the Zippy's.   I tried a couple of the Turnigy Nano-techs, because of the specs
and weight, but they don't run the same as the Zippy's.  Anyone else had batteries run different?

Do you pick up in Lakewood?  How are they to deal with?  I've made one order from the Lakewood warehouse for the ET-1 Trainer and it went well.  I wanted to know if you could go straight to the warehouse and order right there?

Far as I know, you have to order online (and that can be a pain). You can pick up at the warehouse, but not pay there.

Correct. Thought it may have an effect on your plans's CG (depending on where/how you mount the battery) and it may have different dimensions.

I have been using the zippy lipos from hobby king with great luck, I use them on my Profile scale B-29 which has four of the 4S, 3000 mah lipos on board. i had to find a reasonable source since I use four batteries per flight. I got the 20C version since I am not pushing lots of amps for cl scale in profile scale.

I did have two zippy batteries give me problems with dead cell or did not charge properly, but the cost is well within reason and didn't mind having one or two batteri go bad.

 I will be ordering more zippy batteries from hobby king
