The 5 second "burp" in normal and it is there to warn the pilot that the motor will stop in 5 seconds.
Need more info on using too much battery question. How much are you putting back in? Keeping with the 75 to 80 % rule, you should be keeping the drain on the batteries less than 2300 to 2400mah.

Does the motor completely stop or just slows down?
I believe it just slows down. But not so much that it falls out the sky.

hi
this problem is only on the test bench
it does stop completely ,then starts again
will this change in the air ????

Does it stop with or without a propellor?
If you have no propellor and the brake setting (in the ESC) is set to be very aggressive, then I can see the motor stopping completely during the 'warning' burp.
I don't think that the timer is supposed to go to a 'Stop' condition (less than 1.1 msec) but only supposed to slow it to half throttle or so during the warning burp.

with a prop on
its all ok in the air <= #^
