Dave,
I believe it was an SV 11 (I'll William coent on the construction).  I watched a couple of his flights and the plane is rock solid. 
Again, it was a highlite for me and my family meeting your Dad #^.

Im flying a Composite SV22. Its last years plane with a new paint job.
