Model built by who?
« on: December 11, 2013, 07:39:51 AM »
I have a bad habbit of downloading photos of models and the construction of them. Not all, just the ones that really peek my interest.

I have hundreads in various files.

I was reviewing my file that had photos of electric model construction.

In this case, the list of reasons to download and save these particular photos was endless. These photos are worth their weight in gold. Well, at least that's how I see them.

Unfortunately, I didn't lable the photo. So I have no idea who the builder of the model is?

His work is excellent.

Will the gentleman who built this fine model please step forward.

If you don't mind, I would like to ask a few questions related to the construction.

PM's or an E-mail is fine.

Thanks in advance.

Charles

That looks like a Sultan.  Norm Whittle has built a few, although others also find it a good plane for E-power.

Dick,

If that model is offered in a kit or plans, then I could get information from others that have built one.

I'm looking for measurements actually.

The framing on the model in the photos is excellent.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Charles,
since you replied to that supplied link back in October its possible that you could have looked up "Additional Information" in your profile and dug out the reply to reveal the thread - just a thought here.

Cheers.

Chris,

I lost that file moving stuff around, trying to get orginized now that I'm serious about doing an electric model.

I almost lost my file that has photos of models and their set-ups. I have a dozen, twenty or more!

The set-ups are great and I thank all modelers for their efforts in placing them, and in offering the information.

When you know absolutely nothing, it's like a salad without knowing anything about each ingredient.

I did some reading today.

I may go with the Arrowild motors from Brodak. Doing business with Brodak is important. I purchase as much as I can from them.

I got this needle nose spinner comming from Brodak!  #^
