Legac-E complete
« on: February 07, 2010, 12:02:47 PM »
Finally got my legacy completed - this is the first model I have used dope and tissue on - and the first time I have tried painting by myself........lets just say there were lots of lessons learnt.

Plan weighs 63oz with evrything on board

setup is as follows

Motor - Scorpion 3026-890
ESC Phoenix 45
Z-tron V4 timer
Flightmax 4000maH 4s pack (might change this to a smaller pack once I fly it)

hopefully I will get to fly it this coming weekend - (depending on when my daughter decides to be born)

Wynn,
First and most importantly I want to wish you and your wife all the best for your upcoming birth of your daughter. I hope everything turns out perfect!!!!
Next I want to say that you will probably find the 4 cell 4000mah just about perfect for your plane.your setup is almost exactly the same as my SV11 except I am using a Will Hubin timer. Even your weight is right there. I think and differences in numbers between us will be only because of prop selection and line length's, and maybe time. I have flown with a 4 cell 3600 but I was really at my limits, so that may be as small as you will be able to get away with. I want to wish you good luck with the plane too. I really like the way it looks!!
