Guys,

Thoughts I would share a few shots of my latest creation in progress. The model is suppose to resemble a Lockheed T33 shooting Star. It is based on my Tsunami wing and moments as well as the power system. I wanted something a little different with Trigear to fly in profile class this next year. It is at the stage where it could be slid together placed on bench and then sit back and make airplane noises.

I hope to have it ready to try in a week or two, I will keep you updated. Not sure how those wing tips are going to act.

Hi Tim,

1. That is an outrageously cool looking model T-33!  y1

2. 1st your beautiful P-47, now this. Please stop making these, your embarrassing the rest of us!  mw~

3. What, no simulated jet exhaust smoke?  ;)

4. The simulated wing tip tanks are great. We use winglets similar to these in ERC, they help in knife edge. My guess is they will help in CL too.

5. Here is a website you may like. If your wife does not know what to get you for Xmas you may want to show her this website. Trust me, you will have fun!!  8)

6. It's talented craftsmen like you that are an inspiration to the rest of us.  :)

7. When you get a chance, would you please show us a peak under the cowl?

8. And where does that BIG scoop go to? Does it cool the bell-crank during violent maneuvers? Or?

Wow Tim that is REALLY nice.  The Tsunami heritage means its got good DNA too.  That is a great project.   CLP** BW@  8)

I second the WOW!!

Are the battery, ESC and timer housed under the inboard "cheek cowl?" If so it makes for a neat, clean solution.

Thanks all.

The speed control and timer will be housed under the removable cowl, the battery will be on the outside under the canopy somewhere, still looking at the proper CG. I was originally hoping the battery location would be further forward, but the longer than normal nose moment changed that.

I will have more pictures once it is complete, under the hood included :). Nothing is glued at this point, still a work in progress. Was hoping to fly today, but looks like the wind is coming up and it is just to darn cold to have fun, so I will work on getting this completed.

I will post all the specs once I have them.

Tim, I like it alot.
You took the same direction I did to hide the electric ugly stuff under a cheek cowl.
I really like your panel line treatment.
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

If the plane flies well, I would be happy to produce a set of plans, I have a set of work pencil drawings and some cad files but nothing is complete. I will let you know how things go.
