Title: Laser cut ET-1 !
Post by: Larry Renger on February 14, 2013, 08:55:46 AM
At the KOTRC club meeting, Eric Rule showed the laser cut parts for the ET-1 kit.  WOW!  The coroplast cuts beautifully.  No way you could match it by hand.   #^

Pictures of the planes are available in other threads about it.  Do a search. Or if you want a photo of the cut edge, there is nothing to see, it is just a perfectly cut edge, no distortion.

Hi Larry,

Thanks for that. I was also curious about the edges. I thought that the laser would burn the plastic and  the edges would be rough. I know that water-jet cutters do a real good job with coroplast and you can stack the sheets up and blast through a pile of them as well.
