Motor Battery Suggustion?
« on: August 03, 2015, 02:28:28 PM »
Looking at the Pat King Ringmaster Jr Trainer as a plane to fly in the park behind my house during the week. Plane will fly on a maximum of 50' lines due to space limitations. Plane has a 33" wingspan and 225 square inches of area but the weight is unknown. For a plane to just fly around in circles to readapt to turning around in circles what motor battery would you recommend?
Plans call for about a.15 with a .19 being to much power. Thoughts?

I have a Ringmaster Junior (about the same size) with a Turnigy 2826 980K motor http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=71836  and a 3S 1250 lipo battery. That probably would wort for you (the price is right).
