Jet pro 44 motor filtration
« on: September 24, 2024, 05:25:13 AM »
I'm programing a Jeti 44 for the first time and there's something called "Motor Filtration" that's not on Fiorotti's settings PDF, right now it's set at LOW, anyone know about this?
Thank you.

I have a Spin 44 Pro on my Fiorotti I am flying this morning.  I will check my setting.  My gut tells me that 'low' is the right setting as filtration adds to response time.  Is it a Spin 44 or Spin 44 Pro, they really are two very different ESC's

Sorry I didn't fly today but I did the next best thing,  I let Bing AI search the Jeti online documentation and found this:

For the Jeti Spin 44 ESC, the motor filtration setting is typically used to smooth out the motor’s operation, especially at low speeds. The recommended setting for motor filtration is usually medium. However, this can vary depending on your specific motor and application.

If you experience any jittering or roughness in motor operation, you might want to adjust this setting to high for smoother performance or low if you need more responsiveness1.

Would you like more detailed instructions on programming your ESC or any other settings?

Take anything from AI with a grain of salt but this seems ligit.  You want "low".
