Title: Hyperion Zs3025-10
Post by: WhittleN on April 08, 2011, 08:22:14 AM
Good morning Guys
Has anyone out there tried the Hyperion Zs3025-10 motor?  Kv 775; Weight 7oz; 1150 Watts max; specs look like it should be very efficient in our application.

Norm,
I have not tried it, my RC buddies use Hyperions and say they are very good , well built pieces. you are right, it looks to be right in the range. I would equate them ( by appearnce and construction) to the Hackers, though I think they are perhaps a touch more solid. My only concern with my Hacker motors is the bell is a bit light,, they cont like making random contact with things, like the ground!

Ran some numbers on prop calc for it, it really does look promising, at least on 4S

Hyperion motors are built by Scorpion.

Thanks Guys
I noticed that Mr Peter Germann used a Hyperion motor in his very large, 81 oz, Enforcer E.  He said the motor was very high quality.  I guess the Scorpion 3026 is about the same as the Hyperion Zs3025?  Thanks for your replies.
