New electric Bear
« on: February 27, 2014, 10:45:32 AM »
I finished my electric makeover of  my Geiskie bear, AXI 2826-10 Motor with RSM KR timer and ESC and will run on 14.8 volts or 5 cell 18.3 volt battery, 63 foot line abd considering that test wa done in Delta hurricane wind the lap times on test flight were 5.6 Flight time with 15 second start was 5min and 45 seconds.  I will have more information and pictures after the winter hurricanes stop. As many know our flying feild in Portland can get very  turbulent during windy condition so level flight for now.
