So, did Hobby King's US warehouse go away? I was looking online and it seems they only show the global warehouse now. It was cool to just drive to Lakewood, WA and pick stuff up from them, but shipping from Europe or China is a killer.
-
They have East and West USA warehouses. I get the option if I hover the cursor on global. I did have to change my location on the HK site, in the upper right corner, a while back.
-
I figured it out finally, Fred. They recently changed the setup and you select where you want to shop (East coast, west coast or other places) about half way down the page on the right hand side. They sure don't make it easy.
-
The W coast office is in Lakewood. You can pick up your order there.

Howard,
Yes, I know. I've done that before. I was just having problems figuring out how to tell the website that that is what I wanted to do. Not sure who is designing their web site, but they need help. A lot.
-
HobbyKing told me the Lakewood store was closed for pick up and to check the website for updates.

Duke,
If that's the case, I'll likely never buy anything from them again. When I was looking the other day, shipping was unbelievable. For a $100 item, shipping was $53 dollars. Yeah, that's not going to happen.

Sounds like you are have it shipped from overseas. Last time I shipped from HK, they charged me like $6. You're in Washington, shipping is shipping. I've never found it cheaper for me to drive up there, and I'm only 30 miles or so away.
