Yea, that's all we need--guys running around with laptops powered by radioactive sources. I wouldn't hold my breath until they figure out how to package such a sytem where you couldn't puncture and release the stuff---like on a crowded train or plane.---Much less flyin it in a model, where most of us have been know to plant a few planes. Talk about a meltdown at a contest! ~^

Did y'all notice that sentence about 'traditional lithium ion batteries' ?  LL~
I still vividly remember breaking my head over the weight of NiCads not being usable to power an F2B model, let alone the brushed motors not putting out the power I needed.  ::)
And now Li-ion are being referred to as 'traditional'..... ;D
'If you think there's something about my English, you're right. I'm Dutch... '
But I DO play Stunt and I DO fly Bluegrass.

I don't know, the mushroom cloud marking the end of a perfect figure nine sound entertaining.
but by the artical we are not talking that much nuke. LOL
but a timer failure on a thirty year battery could be a problem.

Oh by the way, how many people out there have a thirty year old lap top?

thank you  Dave
I knew it was to good to be true, but I really liked the idea of a glow in the dark plane for night use.
