« on: December 06, 2010, 05:23:45 PM »
Let me throw this out on the table.....

Even today...after all these years...NOTHING! GRABBED A HOLD ONTO ADDICTIONS more than Taking my favorite sport kite down to a secluded beach...
String out my kite n lines...
hook up a sportkite to match the wind...
Take my headsets and tune into my  little programed MP-3 player...
Start the music and Dance that kite, between the earth and the sky...where the demons or angels fly!
Forget the world as I become one with the wind and sportkite...as I direct a choro-ballett routine to my favorite music that  calms the Demons of mind?

OK!!!!U GUYS!!! SO FAR I HAVEN'T WORN A PURPLE N PINK TU-TU BALLET SKIRT----however until you have had your demented mind ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZONE'D OUT flying a routine to a sportkite as your dance partner---ENOUGH DRIZZLE-DRIVEL!

HEY WALKER---ADAMINSIN----N' ALL U "GETTIN AMP'ED CL ADDICTS????
DO YOU THINK CHORO-ELECTRIC POWERED FREE STYLE FLYING EVENT COULD POSSIBLY HAVE ANY REDEEEEEEEEEEEEEMING SOCIAL VALUE AS A NEW EVENT?
I can just imagine...a board walk filled with spectators...and a gaggle of judges...with MUSIC FLOWING FROM ALL THOSE BIG PORTALBE BOSE SPEAKERS SET UP AROUND THE FLYING CIRCLE...AS THE FLYER PUTS THAT MODEL OF HIS THROUGH A PRE PLANNED CHORO ROUTINE TO HIS FAVORITE SONG CHOICE!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAH CURSESSSSOOOOSSAAAAZZZZE' MY INDUCED DREAM IS WEARING OFF!"

Hi Don,

Igors example is great. Here are a few more. The 1st one on my list is both amazing and beautiful, I think you will like it. It is a good example of one of our IMAC freestyle flights set to music at a contest in Europe. I have a large collection of IMAC videos but I have no idea how I could get them on here. But these three may give you some idea of what we do. :-)

This is a beautiful routine to music. He won 1st place! Even though
he was flying one of the smaller planes.
This is an excellent example of a pilot flying to the music.
Notice how he changes from slow graceful to quick along
with the music changes. Cool! :-)

When you get to the site go down to the 9th video
WAG 2009  Donatus Pauzuolis 4 min.

If you like #9, then go down to the 10th and 11th
They will blow your mind! cool music too.

http://www.extremeflightrc.com/html/media.html

This is Daniel Holman from the NW. He often listens to this music while
flying, then he brings it to the contests to play over the contest speakers
During his freestyle flights. He is flying one of his small electrics here,
he flys a 35% at contests.

This is a cool video of my favorite small plane, I have the R/W/B one.
I wish we could have this
kind of lightweight take-apart construction in our CL planes. This is from their web
site, after a brief intro. it has some cool flying and music. I really like the
water flying from the boat. Something you would do Don! ;-)

Once this loads you may have to click on the play button to start/see it.

With all you musicians on this forum I am sure you could all get together and compose the music that reflects the CLPA pattern. It would be cool. Even better if CLPA would add a "freestyle" routine to our contests! ;-)

Damn Don, I always play the music in my head.... EJ's "Funeral For A Friend" always has helped. I ran it in there while I moto crossed,(400 CZ) great rhythm builder. It would be cool if there was some sort of device that would pump what was playing in my head to a set of speakers. It would auto sync it to the tricks..... have to be careful what you were thinking about the judges though.......

The Raymond Scott Orchestra ...
All the neat music from the old warner Brothers cartoons that wasn't lifted fromn the classics was composed by Scott, and adapted by Carl Stalling.
The squares? ... The tune is called POWERHOUSE.

AMAZING VIDEEEEEEOOOOOOOSSSSSSESSSSSSS~ CLP** BW@ HH%% %^
My son Ryan...who flies electric RTFmodels just informed me...that flying to music is one of the most relaxing moments after a hard daze-day at work. But the dark days of winter make him think about indoor flying sites dance around in his heads, even worse that Christmas time  suga'plums.
He still doesn't trust his flying skills or his eye sight enough to fly in such confined areas. However he can't get that new Hockey Ice stadium that graces his Kent Wa. home town out of his mind.
As far as flying to music via' control line...Years of flying chorography at sportkite festivals I feel that perhaps with the proper wind window conditions...FLYING CHORO with the blessings of being "ALL AMP'ED UP" just might make flying CL Ballet a reality?
Especially if the flyers has the skills of CL folks like you guys that have posted these amazing R/C videos attached  on this post.
HUMMM? JUSTTHINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES!!!!
