The flat ribbon cable for the fine adjustment pot is not cooperating with me. Is it just a basic cable that I could replace with a double ended female servo type cable? Being a flat rather stiff cable makes it difficult to position the timer where I want it.
I’m 95% sure I can safely swap it but sometimes there is more going on than meets the eye in electronics.
Thanks, Matt
Looking in the SV11 instructions, there is a picture where the fine adjustment pot is connected via a servo style cable. I’m going to assume it’s just a basic cable connecting the pot and timer.

Yeah, I replaced mine with servo wires.

I'm pretty sure it's just a basic cable and connector. I had the same problem. Don't know why he had to put it 90 degrees. Makes it a real space hog. BTW that adjustment pot is something I've never used because it's just too easy to program the chip the regular way. I would just cut the tines off and encase the nubs with JB weld.
Is JB weld conductive?

I was able to carefully/slowly bend the male pin connectors on the timer to vertical then just velcrowed to inner right fuselage wall. Walter
