Title: First Flite of Baby Clown E-ARF
Post by: Alan Hahn on March 10, 2008, 06:18:05 PM
I just posted something in the 1/2 A forum about the first flight (thought I would bring them into the conversation).

I was very happy--and it worked great with just a single APC6-5.5 prop (no doubling up!).
Total capacity used of 2s730 mAHr battery was 240mAHr (~1/3 of total battery--not bad for a 1.1oz total weight pack!) for the beginner pattern (~2 minutes of flying). I guess I could cut back on battery size--as long as "C" was ok.

Check the 1/2A forum for a link to a short video of yesterday's flight.

As a note, the video is from the flight yesterday (Wednesday), but my first flight (the one I was happy about) was Monday.

Just in case you didn't notice, Fred K. has posted another You-Tube version of the BabyClown in the 1/2 A forum. This time the flight was pretty successful----like the first flight.
