Wow!! Way to go Igor!!

Igor's win and his previous high places in contests with his electric powered models is sure to spur a movement toward electric (the 21st century power for control line) competition models. All that indoor winter practice may just have paid off for Igor - plus his innovative design a superb building skills.

Congratulations Igor!! H^^

Thank you all guys ... and girls :- ))))

I will update more details soon.

So far I can tell we had 4 electric models. 1 from Slovakia, 2 from Czech and 1 from Spain (If I do not count backup model of Richie K.). I hope I did not miss some ... using sound generator or something like that :-P

So as I promised, here is list of electro flyers on EC:

Igor Burger: I needed to add some nose weight so I decided to replace my AXI 2826/13 by heavier Scorpion 3026/710 which has aproximately the same properties, just little heavier and theu better absorbing heat, I use 3b carbon prop 11x5 at 11000, large lipo battery 6s 2600, Jeti spin 66 and active regulation. ... I would say it worked well  ;D

Richie Kornmeier: he used his ST60 model, but his B model was electric, I am not absolutely sure with his setup, but for sure he had large 3bl wood prop 13xsomething, motor orbit XXXX and battery 6s 2600 all on constant RPM setup

Juro Vejmola: Axi 2826/13 APC 12x6 lipo, spin 66, active regulation ... sometimes doing strange noise like cats hunting mouses  LL~ , but otherwise well flying when set it VERY conservatively (I wold say almost switched off  VD~ )

Jan Skrabalek: Axi 2826/13, APC 12x6, lipo, spin 66, constant RPM - well and safe working setup

Alberto Soliera: ... I hope he will add his details himself :- ))))))

Michal Meisl (jun): Axi 2826/13 APC 12x6 lipo, spin 66, active regulation, he did few mistakes, like changed regulation without properly set parameters and so lost flight ... just junior withou coach  HB~>

Peter Kapuscinsky: used his old model with 6s A123 setup with AXI 2826/13, Spin 66 and APC 12x6 at constant RPM ... he was not prepared well, because he replaced another flyer just 2 weeks before contest and he did not have enough time to prepare himsef

Seems you also won the timers builder championship  :)

My system is orbit 20-12, cc ice 50, nanotech 4s 3300 and timer from jpaeromodels (v2) with constant rpm (waiting for v3  ;D). I used a home made carbon fiber copy of the apc 13-4,5.

Your active control worked really well, good job!

bye  :)
