Title: ET-1 progress
Post by: Larry Renger on January 09, 2013, 10:00:14 AM
Well, a 2nd ET-1 has been modified to fly on short lines indoor, and it worked well too.  Looks like a completely new design isn't needed.  :)  We will see how the kids do with them this weekend at the AMA Expo.  More word as the situation develops.

BTW, Tim W, any word from your nephews?

A very surly thank you from the local one (he's 15 so you have to take into account that everything he does is done with a generous dose of 'surly').  It's been wall to wall rain since I handed it off.  The other one -- well, I need to make a box for it and actually ship it out and my gosh it's January 9th already!!!

We trained 46 young (and old) people at the AMA Expo. Only had just over an hour time slot for training.

Total damage was one prop.

Way to go, Larry!  A good showing there.  I hope it makes being reported in the MA mag.
