Guys,
I keep going between ECL and glow so I haven't kept up with the latest thinking on ESC controllers that are now being used. I have been using the old Castle Phoenix 35 & 45 and the ICE 50. They all still work for my applications but would like to know what is currently being used.

Jeti Spin 66, but I wonder if there's another with as quick or quicker response to input.
-
Does the Jeti Spin have the CL brake? Who is the vendor for the US sales?

Use a Jeti Spin with Igor's Active Timer.

Yes. You get them directly from Igor.

Aren't those ESC Spin Pros? The good ones are only Spins.

Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus...........

so, what does it do that others don't do?

Works with Igor's timer the best.......... :)

The spin esc's will change rpm very fast while in governor mode. Most other esc's do not respond fast enough while in governor mode. This is only a concern when using an active timer like Igor's. If the response is too slow, then the power increase/decrease will not happen at the correct points in the maneuvers.

Yes and you have to use the old Spin 66, not the new Spin 66 Pro.
Igor gets Spin to make the old ESCs to order. (10 at a time I believe.)

Looks like you've been good. I got some carbon, but it's not the right form for landing gear or anything.

Sounds like your carbon was in lump form. A coal burner could make it useful.

Jeff, do not you have reverted connector on the timer? That red point on connector must be oriented to orange wire of ESC lead.

Thanx Igor,I will take a look at it.That is the way I received it.Not quite ready to install.
