Hello John,
No the ESC programmer is something you use on the bench and then set aside.
I am not at all familiar with the Thrust (trust?) ESC.
Will you be setting up an RPM governor in the ESC and using a timer, OR will you be using the ESC in fixed endpoints mode with a governor/timer like the KR?
If this question makes no sense, then start reading and asking ...
