There are many guys like me. I know zero-zip-nada of how this new electric stuff works. We need a bench mark so I have started a spot just below this forum to list you speed controller,motor and ESC, then if you could-would or can list your .DAT file.
This way a new person to electric can scan through your files and find one to load into his/her ESC. With all this E=I/R and other math stuff that's given out to make everyone sound like geniuses is more confusing to us people who don't have a clue that make it pretty intimidating to even try. People like me don't want to make a science project out of model airplanes or have to become a electronic engineer to do this. So if you will be so kind as to share a basic file we might see more people try this.

Good idea. I just go by Norm's cookbook, but seeing other folks's files will help with my "research".

It would be good to include a data log file when recorded with a Castle speed controller too. These can be viewed with Castlelink graph viewer.

edit: never mind, the forum doesn't allow csv files to be uploaded. I tried to convert it to a jpeg but it was large and useless info.

Bob, Your best bet may be to print the graph and scan it into a PDF of Jpeg file which you can post. Also, you might appeal to Sparky to allow csv files to be attached.

If Sparky sets it up where csv files can be uploaded that would make life easier, the files I have don't exceed 600kb. But if he can't or wont then I will have to fire up the printer and scanner.

DAT files can be uploaded and inturn put onto your esc. So this file you are requesting is only a view file. I would rather have the DAT but now its a choice.

the CSV files are the actual log files from AFTER a flight, showing the current rpm etc,, as I recall, so its logical that they are read only,,showing the results of tweaks you made on the ESC
the dat files are the ESC settings files that allow you to tweak the ESC,
