Make sure you report on how it works---good or bad!

Is it an optical illusion or is the flap deflection almost twice the elevator deflection?  And is the wing removeable?

Thanks --

The elevator & flaps are set @ 1:1 ratio the flaps are
just large. So it just seems that way. The R/C version does have
take apart wings but the span was so short I just made it one piece.
The rest of the story coming later.

Well just got back from flying today, The system worked just fine but the plane itself not so much The first flight
went half a lap before the canopy came off shut down cause timer was attached 2 it. No damage but it took
the remote button wires off the circuit board. Of course I didn't bring soldering iron so plan B was put into action
went to Lowe's a few Min's away picked up one and 2 Walmart next door for a pack of #64 rubber bands.
came back to the R/C side of the field soldered the wires back and started up again. Timer was set for two short
3min flights. The first flight was a bit fast, had lots of tension and thrust on ground. Got ready to fly again this time
only one of the remote wires come off (operator error)back to the R/C side solder wires better this time. Next flight
take off only 2 shut down again. ESC connection 2 timer slipped off. Last flight lap times still a bit fast but acceptable. Then the outboard wing come clean off after a hard maneuver.(Wonder why the plane made those funny :'( noises a few flights earlier.) Landed OK without no further damage. Post Mortem revealed factory glue separated from the plywood and snapped the carbon rods off.
and the motor mount broke and a screw came loose & rattled around inside.
And now the fix has begun and to improve things. Starting with the battery plenty of room to put it underneath.
At the CG So I wont need 2oz of tail weight to be a still nose heavy airplane, easier access to the battery.
hold down screws for the canopy (won't trust a magnet alone again!) and most important a way to reattach the
outboard wing.  S?P Well that's the rest of the story for now.
