I wanted to share a picture of my set up for electric motor. The angle bracket has two holes, the one closes to the back plate is where my Saito engine hold down bolts where installed. The back hole is for balance, to be sure the motor lines up on the thrust line. I'm using this set up in my Stiletto and it seems to be working very well. The metal back plate acts as a heat sink. I was using a saito 62 in my Strega and darn saito decided to quit doing the overhead eights. No tears the head in landing only broke her in half. The Strega wing is back together and I believe its stronger how than before. The fuse wasn't hurt, all I have to do is glue the wing and fuse back together and away we go. I was going to set the battery under the wing but I believe I need the weight up front. I'm going to box out for the battery and make it just a drop in and fly awhile. You're correct, the mount isn't complete. There will be more holes, just want to get everything mounted and located. I appreciate your input, when I complete the mount I will weigh her. The slot for the wires to travel thru needs more work also. If the wires touch the metal that wouldn't be a very good thing. Its just a clean way to make the change over. Wood is good but is more permanent and there no go back with wood. After you fly with electric you wouldn't want to go back but you just can do, if ya want to, Gary
