Congratulations to my Uncle Dennis Adamisin on his win today in Masters CLPA. The Mythbuster was in great form and he flew it very well. Weather down here was great for stunt today and the Mythbuster really took advantage of it. Great Job UD!!!! BW@ H^^

Thanks all - had a pretty good weekend with Archie, Arch & Big Art all pushing and pulling me along. On Starruday I took advantage of the pace circle and replaced the 10x5 prop with an 11x5.5. THe greatly increased thrust helps a lot, but the Swinger still has a couple tough manuvers. I wish I had built it lighter.
Archie spotted a trim flaw that we got corrected by the last round. The Mythbuster remains the most comfortable airplane in the fleet, very easy and friendly to fly and very quiet. Pete Bergstrom was judging, he said he could hear my feet walking around the center over the noise of the bird...

Yes congratulations.
I was a bit confused by Allen Goff's post in the Open Forum which was titled "Master's Class at FCM" since it was congratulating Sparky, then finally I noticed that Sparky won Expert (odd pairing of title and congratulations!).
-
The congratulations was his way of welcoming Sparky to the Master's class at FCM - that's all.

Ok, that makes sense. However I was originally in the mode of thinking Sparky had won Masters and was trying to figure out .....oh well, age has put me over the edge! HB~>

Alan, don't feel lonesome. Now when are we going to see an article as well as plans for the far out pink Mythbuster? DOC Holliday

Yes the Mythbuster sure stands out as being different in the photo of the Master's Finalist. I don't think it is "just" the pink color or the V tail.

And don't turn your back on it Alan because you sure can't hear it either!! I told UD that I thought it was quieter than my Eflight Accent Sailplane. n~ Pete said that he heard UD's footsteps in the center of the circle over the airframe noise. With it's long wing and long fuse, it really dosen't look as small as it is. The fuse length and span made it the biggest airplane on the field.

I can only sit back and say how extremely proud we are of Denny"s and Archie's accomplishments so far. They've both spent a great amount of time and effort , designing, testing and then experimenting with the ECL components in order to make a set up that that would compete with what was already out there, as well as one that that might be used by the masses, with out having to apply for a Government loan.I think they've both done an outstanding job on the model and the power system.
