Are most people balancing converted "E" Vectors at around three inches back from the leading edge of the center line of the wing like IC Vectors, or is the balance point moved forward?
If it's moved forward, what is the range for electric?

There are E Vectors listed above in the list your setup sticky thread. I suggest you contact the listers with a PM and ask where they have the CG set for their models.

Gil,
I have two electric Vectors. First one is a glow convert to electric back in 2010. The balanced point on that heavy one is 2-7/8" back from the leading edge. The newer one is right at 3".

On the old one the leadouts were the same as the glow motor due to using a right hand prop. After changing to a left handed prop the leadouts had to be moved up some.

Thanks John, I haven't flown mine yet, the weather wont give me a break. I'm balanced at 2 & 7/8" back from LE, I guess that's a good starting point.
Being a IC stunt "old timer" but very new to electric, I had thought that maybe the balance point for an E stunt ship was forward of what we typically use with an IC version to compensate for the weight of fuel.
