Title: Electric Stunt, ARF Flight Streak
Post by: frederickmgoff on January 02, 2007, 01:29:03 PM
I would like to convert a  ARF flight streak to electrical power as a starter project. Anybody converted an ARF streak to electric power, what did you use?  thanks

The following power systems will give you a great performing Flight Streak.

1) AXI 2814/12

2) For a full pattern 4000mah Li-Poly
    For more performance/sport flying 2000-2200mah 20C Li-Poly

3) Castle Creations Phoenix-45 ESC

4) Graupner CAM or APC-E 8x5 (for more speed/sport flying) or 9x4 (for more thrust/less speed/aerobatics)

5) Z-Tron or JMP timer

Or you can use the Brodak ARF Super Clown power system for very similar results and a much lower price.

The brands listed were just suggestions. They can be substituted for an equivalent of any brand.

Mike flew the Super Clown electric buzzer to third in Expert Profile at Brodak. Ridiculous.
