After adding Thierry's beautiful ECL plane to my SS list for comparison , I thought some of you might want to see how ECL stacked up against Wet CL planes? I put in a few of the Full Scale planes I have flown so that we can see the impact of the all important "Reynolds Number", (Re=68 x V x c) on our wing loadings. A 400 POUND Nobler? ;-) ..... It gives a new perspective on worrying about the difference between 13.9 and 14.3 oz/sq in in our CL planes! ;-)
As I, and others, have stated before: our CLPA planes can go up a little more in wing loading with no problems, as long as they have an INCREASE in power loading, like we now have with modern powerful wet engines and our very powerful E systems. :-)
Sorry the formating did not come across well, it looks perfect when I typed the post, but then it has a mind of it's own when it is sent to the forum. I hope it is still readable?
Feel free to send me your ECL planes data so we can all get a better idea of the range of wing loadings (and power loadings) that still works well in ECL. TIA
The bomber is Will Moore's, the Diva is Phil Gs, the Impact E is Paul W's, the Elec Crate is Dennis As.
