Photo scan test...Paul Walker's CLPA Electric Impact for today
« on: February 19, 2009, 10:44:14 AM »
I have been experiencing download problems when trying to convert images saved on web based photo buckets...such as webshots...and photo works.
So far...if I "right click and save" and then send that photo to my home E mail, I can convert them to jpg....but so far this doesn't "FLY" when I use the webshots website...however if I send them to Stunthanger directly...with the code UL # this seems to work?

Don, three things I often do, even when I can right click and download an image:

1) Hold down the CTRL key and roll the mouse wheel - your browser image should
zoom for you. If it doesn't, try left clicking on the web page first. This works in
both IE and Firefox browsers for me.

You can zoom photos to a large size this way.

2) Press Alt-Print Screen to capture the active window's screen image onto the Windows clipboard.

3) Open a favorite freebie graphics editor (Irfanview for me) and Paste the clipboard to it.
Use Irfanview to crop and then save the screen image as a JPG.

I don't know whether this solves any problems or not for you.
