Electric Forerunner? Anyone convert one?

I have a nitro powered Forerunner that has had a OS  40FP as power at one time.  I've thought of converting it to electric.  Will it work? Or would you have to build one form scratch for electric to get it to trim out right?

Should work just fine. Might be a bit heavier than converting one from scratch. Check this thread out.

This is the power set up from the aforementioned Forerunner:

Scorpian SII 3020-890 motor
3300 4S Lipo
Castle Creations Edge Lite 50 ESC
Hubin FM-9 timer
APC 11 x 5.5 EP
RPM setting 10200

I built another Forerunner this past winter using a built up wing from UHP plans.  Same power setup. I haven't flown it yet.

Correction, that is the straps and the Velcro pad that hold the battery from sliding

The first Forerunner I did was a bastardized model using a Mustang Stunter surfboard wing.  Heavy. This is the link to that string

If you built the Forerunner with the tank mounted inboard, it would be simple to put the battery in that recess. It will probably have to be enlarged.  Then you can put the ESC and timer on the outboard side. Forerunner is great profile stunt plane.

I have one already built, by Jerry Eichten , for nitro.  I think I want to covert it over, seem I'm being sucked over to the E-Side. ;D  I've been spending a bunch of time with electric gliders and it's really nice to not be slimmy.  I helped a new RC guy with his nitro plane yesterday, although it sounded great and smelled good to, I had castor everywhere.
