Hi Bob

I certainly agree with what you just said, and want to thank you for pointing me in the E-direction when I talked to you on the phone about what glow engine I should get for my Brodak Magician kit.  ;)

Hi Everyone,
Yes, I must also shout out a BIG THANKS to Bob and as well just as much to Will DeMauro; Bob for directing me to electric power, and the thanks to Will for taking all my beginners phone calls & telling me the correct equip. to buy.  I still have & buy some glow items for classic/ old time ships, but as soon as people stop griping about flying elec. pwr. in classic/old time, or I just stop worrying about what they say, I'll fly those with elec. also. Hopefully no one proposes a rule to ban elec. pwr. from those events.

...This is a very, very, very great day for those of us on this forum who saw this coming a long while back. ...

A great day indeed, Bob.
When, not too many years ago, the F2B Working Group opened the FAI F2B set of rules for electric power, sometimes those opposing have not been very friendly at all.
Well, I think we have just arrived...
Thanks to all who have contributed.

Go re-read first post.   I congradulate all the people/stunt grunts that flew at the worlds.   It takes a lot more dedication  than I would do.  And our USA team for their efforts, well done.   Need to work harder next time.

Hi All, Guess who had the privilege of flying Igor's model?? All I can say is that the smile is going to stay on my face for a looooooooong time! What an amazing stunt model this is. It's just so accurate and easy to fly. A big thank you to Igor for letting me experience this. His power package is also too amazing for words. It just adds power and backs off in exactly the right places in the maneuvers. This has taken years to develop so congrats to Igor for this totally awesome package.

Looks like Igor is using a tractor prop.

Yes, it is a 3-bladed 11x5.5 tractor prop. He says that the pusher prop will have negative effects on his setup. I can tell you that this model does not need anything else to keep the lines tight in the hourglass or any other maneuver.

Yes it is available, several guys is going to try it, we will see. So far I can say that first 3 places use my active timer. But it is not pill for all ilnesses.

Unfortunatelly I did not have chance to count all electric models, because this year we had too many crashes even before WCh. But from my memory, all slovak, czech, all polish seniors use electric with active controll (Jeti + AXI or MVVS + active timer), then members of US, JPN, Spain, SA, NZ, AU and I probably missed several others fly electric but I do not know details. Simply it is already common to use electric. I even saw Shark reworked for electric.
