E SV-22 balsa shell composite

test photos
New SV-22 plugg in wing,removable stab and elev with removable flaps and elevators. MODEL: molded balsa composite shell wings,fuse and stab. Faps: Bob Hunt sheeted foam,elev and fin balsa.
power As shown:E flite 25, castle 45,hyperion 4S 4000,Hubin fm9 and shutoff switch
I have switched power package. Eflite power 32  Batt TP 2700 castle lite75
Photo #3 william Demauro and my SV-22. these 2 models were built from my female molds. my model weight is 70 oz

The beauty of electrics you can fly them before paint.
Photos showing take apart model
Model is 70 oz ready to fly with 3oz of take apart hardware.
in gas language the model would weight 63oz take apart and 60 oz one piece model

Thanks for the pics, as I was just about to ask for pics of the take apart peices.   Also the photo of the two planes, if they are identical the paint schem sure makes them look different.   Gorgeous planes.

Now the thought, can less resin be used?

John I built a one piece SV at 47 oz prior to paint  at that weight it was nose heavy very stable with great controlled corners.
I used the lightest balsa also a new method for applying epoxy. The biggest savings is in the wood selection
You can also reduce the wing weight by building as an open bay. 2oz savings
