Anyone know the size of the set screws in the aluminum housing? The set screw in the collar seems to be 6-32 (or at least 6-32 fits) but the other 2 set screws seem to be different. I tried to measure them but it's hard on such a short thread. Maybe I should just tap them out and use 6-32?
Thanks,
MM

Don't know the size but they are bound to be metric! y1

Curiously, the set screw on the collar takes an American Allen wrench: 1/16", I think. I had to borrow one the other day because all mine were round on the end.

I think I got it figured out. It's 3.5x.8mm basically impossible to find and takes a 1.5mm wrench. 3.5mm is a few thou smaller than 6-32 and .8mm is 31.87 threads per inch.
I tried a 6-32 in the hole and it was a tiny bit tight but worked fine so, I'm going with 6-32 x 1/8th all around and a 1/16th wrench.
Anyway, thanks go to me, myself and I since none of the vendors emailed me back and, hope this info was useful to somebody.

McMaster Carr carry a bunch of metric machine screws.

McM doesn't have that size. Got a response from the vendor he said the size is 1/16th LOL he's talking about the wrench size I guess. I love these so called tech people. I sent back another request for info that a fool would understand. It's just entertainment value now, I'll keep you posted.
