Hi all
I just completed a Brodak Bearcat I converted to electric.
Specs
Motor: Hacker A30-10XL V2 900kv
ESC: Phoenix 60
Timer: FM-9a
Battery: Zippy 4s 2800 30c
Weight 55oz (For now!)
I haven't flown it yet I hope to get the basics in this weekend. The weathers nice but the wind could blow hard
in a hurry here.
Here are some pictures of the finished plane. From time to time I will post pictures of the build highlights and a drawing of the front end conversion.

Nice job. Good looking pilot.

I like the Bearcat. It has a large air intake to keep all your gear cool.Neat and tidy install.

I do worry a bit about heat buildup. Yes it has a large intake, but I don't see and equally large exit for the heated air to escape. Anyway the plane is very nice and is definitely something I would consider building in the future. It's hard to tell size in a picture, is this the Rabe Bearcat that Brodak markets?

Andy,
I didn't take a picture of the bottom but there is a hole the same size and location as the original. But I believe the pictures will show up during the build.

GREAT job Darrell. Love those radial cowls, LOTS of room to stash all the hardware.
