If this is your first electric their is a learning process to get it grooving.   However once the setup clicks it is the same every time you flip the switch.  I do love the electric power.  Also the KR timer has worked well for me.   I like the fact that you can program it without a computer.  #^

Did you re-charge your battery to find MAh usage?

Yes, they were all at 3.85 per cell.. Put them on the charger to get them to storage charge afterwards.

Cell voltage is a really unreliable measure of the state of charge -- you need to charge the battery and see how many mAh went back in.  LiPo batteries are super-efficient as far as the amount of charge delivered vs. charge put in, though, so that's a really good measure.

I guess welcome to electrics.
I made my debut to electric flight this year too. I haven't had a bad motor run since. If you can read instructions you can get a motor run in a few flights. Most timer with exception of Igor Active Timer and Fiorotti active timer will not give a 4-2-4 break in the motor run. If you desire that you have to get one of those. Weight of propeller is important. May I suggest using XOAR props. You can get them on Ebay or perhaps your local hobby store.
I would cut out the other hard maple mount too. really it only goes on for the ride.
If you know the battery usage then you an adjust for battery size. I think you want to be below 80% battery used in flight.
