Well, right now it would be useless for me. I have three chargers and none will charge Li- Po batteries above 4.20 volts! Do I want yet another charger?

Regular Li-Po batteries are working fine for my purposes. I will wait until  a real battery break through before I consider switching.

Paul,
Are these available from  the HobbyKing USA site? What other sizes are available and what is the weight?

Paul,
I check the HobbyKing web site (there is no USA site), if you search for Turnigy BOLT Lipo and they come up. According to the web site you can charge them with a standard Lipo charger and they will act just like a regular lipo but to get them most out of it they recommend their charger. They are available in 2400, 2800, 3450, 5400 mah packs 2S, 3S, 4S & 6S (6S for the 5400 pack only). The 4S 3450 pack is priced at $61.26 USD. It weighs in at 374g (13.2 oz.) not bad.

Best,     DennisT

Other sizes need to come out. There isn't any thing at the moment that suits me.
But check out this site they came out with these batteries a few months before Hobby King.

Thats right if U use a regular charger. It can be charged up to 3c if the right chargers are used. I hope the number comes down from 70c so the weight can be lighter. I hope Thunder Power will come out with something similar soon.
