Charger problems
« on: June 04, 2018, 09:52:20 AM »
I decided to resurrect my electric Clown and charge up my batteries.  Hooked up everything as I had done in the past (probably been a year since last flown) and got nothing.  I checked the output on the Chargery A30 power supply and got about 5 volts (rated at 14 volts).  Then I hooked up my charger (G.T.Power Rc) with a lipo to my car battery: got absolutely nothing.  I am beginning to believe that the charger is bad.  am I right??

Thanks,

Brew

It’s hard to tell from a distance.
With the power supply only putting out 5 volts, I’d say it has a problem.
Getting nothing from your charger hooked up to a (presumably fully charged) car battery would imply that it has a problem.
I had one of those GT Power chargers in the past. It was my first charger. I don’t have much good to say about the one I had.

I have seen the light, and it’s powered by a lipo.
