Impact ARC
« on: April 06, 2012, 01:19:43 PM »
My first electric attempt for the intermediate level that I am now at.  My appoligies to Steve Moon for coping the finish and thanks to Tim Stagg who answers my off the wall questions dealing with electric configurations.  It has an E-Flite 32 motor, Hubin FM-9 timer and Castle Ice 50 Lite ESC.  Hope that it trims out for my flights at Brodak this year. n~

Thanks Bill, I am learning about battery placement in the fuselage and the balance point.  Right now the ready to fly weight is 73 oz. the battery weighs 18 oz.

William I am trying a Nano-Tech 3.3 battery.  I have never used this style, so I will see how it goes.
