Title: Castle ESC question
Post by: Randy Powell on December 19, 2019, 01:43:16 PM
So, are settings for a Castle Creations Phoenix Edge equivalent for a Castle Creations Talon ESC?

Will Hubin can supply a new chip for the programmer box that is a fix to an issue with RPM on the Talon ESC's.  Drops right in.

Randy, I’ve used both the Phoenix and the Talon. The RPM difference (addressed by the new Hubin timer programmer chip) is the main difference. The only other thing I found was that the Talon was more likely to shut off at the indicated over current level, whereas the Phoenix would be prone to melting itself first. That’s about it. The Talon is lighter, too.
