I built several Lighting Streak models and converted them to electric with very good results.

Motor: Turnigy SK3 2836 1040Kv
Esc: Yep 30A
Battery: Tattu 4s 1300mha
Prop: APC 9x5 (glow)
Timer: Fiorotti's passive timer

Model yellow

Motor: Turnigy SK3 3530 1340Kv
Esc: Yep 30A (better use 40A)
Battery: Gens Ace 3s 2200mha
Prop: MHS 10x5 electric
Timer: self made 2 speed 433mhz Remote

I used an Oki Air printed motor mount to convert a 1960 vintage Flight Streak. Worked pretty good.  I had to cut into the leading edge of the wing and did some internal reinforcement.
