Title: beep beep beep
Post by: bill rutherford on September 02, 2015, 01:27:50 PM
Flew my max bee yesterday and all was well. Last night I repromgramed  my jetti spin 66 to change the flight time and when I went to fly this morning I put in the plug and turned the switch on and got one beep and the prop moved like normal . I got half way to the handle and I got a beep, beep, beep . My guess is I messed something up when I was changing the flight time.. Help!!  Bill

If you've got an Igor system then I'm pretty sure you wanted to be changing the flight time in the Igor Thing, not the Jeti Thing.

Bill, I would say you accidentally switched on "Timing Monitor". It should work like before, menas do whole flight, just on beginning it beeps regarding "timing".

If id does NOT work normally, means you cannot make flight, something is really wrong and you can go to "measure" and on end you can see error codes.

BTW the flight time is stored in timer, not in Spin, so you had to change settings in timer instead of ESC.

more about programming is here:

Do you have roadrunners there?  It could have been a roadrunner.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Howard. Thank you Igor. Spent some time reading what you sent me. I understand it much better now. Got a flight in this morning and all is ok except I have to slows it down some. A 4.7 lap is a little quick for this 72 year old man.  Thank you again Igor, Next time we meet I owe you dinner.  Bill

Howard. Roadrunners go beep, beep not beep, beep, beep.

Howard. Roadrunners go beep, beep not beep, beep, beep.

Perhaps, Bill, this is a progressive Roadrunner who doesn't want to follow the established and lawful Roadrunner rules. Perhaps he just wants to make a lot of noise. Perhaps he just wants to confuse Wiley... All things to think about.

Bob , that is just sick. You don't mess with the road runner. You don't step on superman's cape                                                          . Some things must stay as the were or even us progressive old farts are going to be even more confused . Bill

Old age I'm going to blame for my inaccuracy. It was the little Nash Rambler.
