One more stunt flyer joins the e-ranks.
« on: December 11, 2010, 11:53:55 PM »
Here's the evidence of my labor for the last few weeks. An E-Sultan , built up of balsa ,covered with silkspan and dope, and loved to death. It includes the components recommended to me by the designer Norm Whittle---an Axi 2826/12 ;an Ice Light 50; a Will Hubin fm90 timer with remote start button ; and a Thunderpower 5s 2600 mah V2: Now all I have to do is learn what wiring details are needed , with plugs and switches , and how to program the timer and the E.S.C. Any help would be appreciated. I understand that Norm Whittle is writing a simple instruction manual on this topic , which should be a tremendous help to us who know nothing about e-stunt.  This plane weighs 62 ounces R.T.F.   Keith Varley
Now lets see if I can get pictures attached.

Looks great. Nice paint job.
Would like to see picture of cowl in place from the bottom,  details of air outlet.  What size is the spinner ?
Does Norm sell plans ?

Keith,

This is very cool.  Maybe you should build my next plane for me and just keep it in Canada.  That way I could come up and fly F2B.
CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks very much Phil .Actually it's a bit safe and conservative .I wish I had the ability to come up with paint schemes like you do.At the last Regionals I did vote for your  plane , and at the next Regionals I'll probably be voting for ELROY.  Keith

No I didn't.It's just front mounted. I read all I could from many sources and decided to go with that. There is room for rear mount if I do change my mind.Keith
