Well I did fly and the plane performed very well, that's more than I can say for my skills.  That can be the down side of electric models, I can't blame the plane anymore.  Another sign of the times there were three electric models in the contest and all of them were very competitive in their events.  There was also a lot of interest in the planes, after I flew the Pathfinder a few times people started coming over, taking a look, and then asking lots of questions.

Practice, practice, practice!!! y1

Here you go Doc.

> Arrowind 2210-25 kv=1560
> APC-E 7x5 Pusher prop.
> 3s 1300 and 1350 Li Po batteries, two of each.
> Castle Creations Thunderbird 38amp  ESC (non governing).
> Current timer:  KR timer with built in governor mode, this replaced the original FM-9.
> Original timer: Will Hubin FM-9 timer (Delay 15 seconds, fight time 4:35, and power set to 80%)
> .008 x 45' (eyelet to eyelet) lines.
> All up weight is 15 ounces including battery.
> 1/4 ounce of tip weight.

All ESC wires, except connection to timer, are cut to minimum length and soldered together.  Battery is located under the plane at the CG.  Covering is Polyspan with a couple of coats of dope.  With the 7x5 prop the landing gear will need to be modified to give the prop tips more clearance.

My pleasure Doc, by the way this has become my favorite plane to fly.  I take to the park during the week and get flights in and then on the weekend I pack it along with my other planes for the club field.  It fly's great and gives me the opportunity to get quality practice in.  I can't say it enough how nice it is to fly a plane and never worry about the motor.

Well between you and Bobby Hunt plus a few others I may try electric.   But, my LA 25 on the Primary Force is so dependable.   H^^

Having trashed his set of .008 lines, Andy flew the plane on .012 x 45 ft this morning.  No problems!  Line tension was still good.   y1
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!
